. . . on Behavior - by Bette Cohn Like Ralph Fensterwald I am also dismayed by bad conduct at the table but considering how many tables we have in play here in Sarasota I think the surprise is that we all get along as well as we do. As a director I have informed my players that when they come to my game I consider them my friends. No one would ever come to my home and insult a friend of mine ... by the same token why would that same person feel free to do so at the bridge table. When a player behaves in an npleasant manner and causes another player, regardless of skill, it is a disservice to the game and to the director. Bridge has been the source of our greatest friendships. Be grateful for the many pleasant hours it has provided us. Lets give a little back to the newer players so that they can also enjoy the challenge of this great game ... ... ... ...as for me I can't imagine
not having bridge and my bridge friends in my life: I love it. |
